A Brief Overview
The HR Information Systems Specialist provides administrative and technical support to all areas of Safelite's HR function, including Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning and Development, Total Rewards, Associate Relations, DE&I and the business at large. This position maintains associate data, provides data changes and migrations, and processes data related to the full spectrum of HR activities.
What you will do
Provides outstanding customer service to users by assisting them with questions, researching issues, and fulfilling requests.
Reviews and processes all people systems transactions and ensures all pending transactions are processed.
Analyze data flows for process improvement opportunities, and recommend/create policies and job aids on reporting standards and offer technical solutions to gain process efficiency and improve data integrity
Maintain and audit confidential employment records including job, employment history, compensation, benefit, and other related data to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
Create and maintain system documentation for HRIS and related downstream systems processes.
Provide functional and technical support, identify, and troubleshoot system problems
Education Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field preferred
Experience Qualifications
1-3 years relevant experience required
Certification: Workday certifications (HCM, Recruiting, etc.) strongly preferred
Experience with a HCM/HRIS/ATS solutions, primarily Workday Preferred
Skills and Abilities
Demonstrates professionalism and empathy in interactions with internal stakeholders and end users, ensuring a positive support experience.
Skilled in Excel (including formulas and pivot tables), Access, SharePoint, and Teams to support data analysis, collaboration, and reporting tasks.
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical and HR System concepts into understandable language for non-technical audiences, supporting training and documentation efforts.
Comfortable working in distributed teams across time zones; able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Self-driven with the ability to work autonomously or collaboratively, adapting to changing priorities and tight timelines.
Foster productive working relationships with related groups (Recruiting, Benefits, Payroll, etc.)
Highly focused, self-motivated, looking for growth, and excellent problem solver. Eager to learn and grow within the Workday ecosystem; approaches challenges with analytical thinking and a solution-oriented mindset.
Comfort working with HR technology and navigating multiple systems
