A Brief Overview
As a Sr. Supply Chain Project Manager, you will manage all aspects of large-scale complex supply chain projects and smaller contained programs, playing a pivotal role in overseeing and executing projects aimed at improving the efficiency, reliability and cost-effectiveness of our supply chain processes, facilities, and software. You will lead collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive projects from conception and business case to successful completion including implementation, rollout, and optimization, ensuring that objectives are met with in scope, budget, and timeline constraints.
What you will do
Coordinates and leads large-scale complex supply chain projects and small program team meetings to gather and organize project business and technical requirements, user flows, process flows, and inventory flows. Establish and maintain budgets, timelines, issues, risks, dependencies, and constraints.
Creates and manages project documentation, including project charters, statements of work, resource requirements and plans, business requirements, business cases, performance metrics, project plans, RAID logs, and status reports to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and within customer expectations. Creates and presents project budgets, concepts, and timeline via a Project Charter in order to secure initial project approval.
Analyzes business processes and designs improvements that reduce expense and increase customer satisfaction through improved quality, efficiency, and communication.
Participates in other related projects and tasks as needed including but not limited to portfolio status meetings with supply chain senior leadership
Mentor and coach Project Coordinators and Managers as required, providing guidance on best practices and project management methodologies
Other duties as assigned.

What you will need
- Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's Degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field. Preferred
- High School Diploma Required
- 7-9 years project management or related experience
- Experience with HR systems (e.g. Workday) including timekeeping (e.g. Kronos), payroll (e.g. ADP), and work force management solutions is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective business relationships with management, associates, vendors, clients, and other stakeholders at all levels (High proficiency)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. (High proficiency)
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities. (Medium proficiency)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. (Medium proficiency)
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills; effective collaborator and facilitator: effective in bringing multiple groups together to agree on project scopes and build consensus. (High proficiency)
- Proficient understanding of system development and organizational change management methodologies. (High proficiency)
- Effective at planning & budgeting, and scheduling and organizing work priorities to adhere to project timelines. (High proficiency)

- Expected Work Location (In Office): It is expected that you will primarily perform work at the Safelite Home Office (7400 Safelite Way, Columbus, OH 43235). You are required to work in the office at least 4 days a week. Changes to work location arrangements are subject to managerial approval and business needs. #LI-Onsite
