Technicians are expected to be auto glass experts who are skilled at providing the best service to our customers. We pride ourselves on the quality of our work to complete jobs in a safe and timely manner to meet their needs. We offer a variety of mobile and in-shop technician positions in order to meet the unique demands of our customers. Technicians work in various weather conditions, from cold winters to hot summers.

Absolutely! Safelite prides itself on offering internal advancement opportunities. We offer growth plans to level up from a technician trainee all the way to a master technician. As you progress, so do the rewards and recognition to make sure we appropriately compensate you for all your hard work.

We also offer growth plans to move into leadership roles within our shops. Many of our leaders started as technicians, repair specialists or customer advocates, which provides a great launching pad for advancement into additional opportunities.

Yes, Safelite provides training for all positions. Based on the role expectations, the training will vary. For example, customer advocate training may take about three to four weeks of shadowing and systems knowledge compared to technician training, which takes anywhere from 12 to 15 weeks. Safelite offers competitive compensation for all positions that varies based on the specific role. For technicians, we offer a competitive hourly rate plus commission on windshield wipers sales, in addition to an opportunity to level up into more advanced technician positions. For leaders and customer advocate roles, we offer competitive base pay plus annual bonus opportunities based on individual and company performance.
